Brooke's Social Studies class threw a "Celebrating Unity Ball" this year at the Bear Valley Middle School for all the 8th Grade. This ball was a Civil War reenactment , and the kids learned all types of etiquette and dances in P.E. like the Virginia Reel, Ladies Chain and several others. She was able to borrow a gorgeous dress and get all dolled up. Grandma Farrow came and made her hair look beautiful. She needed to get three partners for three different dance sets, but was asked by 9 boys. I don't know what to make of our silent beauty. Grandma and Grandpa Moon were out visiting, so it was fun for them to get to take part in this too. Brooke had a blast dancing the night away.
