Hello! I hope you'll welcome me to the wonderful world of blogspot. This is for my posterity...now I just have to find the time to do it! So here it goes.... It was so much fun having Brittany and Scott here for Easter. We enjoyed taking these pictures after church in front of our blooming spring flowers! Spring is my favorite time of the year. After this we headed to Nanny and Bompa's for a delicious Easter feast! We had Easter egg hunts, played the Wii, and all took well deserved Sunday naps...doesn't get much better than that!
Also, this weekend we all got to experience the Museum of Man in Balboa Park. We saw the Body Exhibit and say it was a little creepy, yet cool and mysterious...after going, how could you not believe there was a God that created such a wonderful and intricate creation. We sort of lost our appetite but about 20 minutes later....everyone was starving and we HAD to indulge in a savory Japanese buffet. Brittany was in heaven with the all you could eat sushi...while Brooke found her pizza and chicken. Blake, Scott and Dad counted their plates...they ate 8, and ate...and ate. :) We were stuffed by the end of it...and man was the car filled with a noxious smell the whole way home! haaha! We hope to do more exciting things while we are still on Spring Break and have the kids home.
