Wicked!!!!
We had a 'WICKED" trip to Arizona. We saw the hottest musical in the hottest place I have ever been to!!!! It is a good thing we love our family so much and that we would travel the dessert a zillion times to share fun times with the Moons and Grandparents!!!
We loved getting together with the Bartholamews, Moons and Kelee's good friends. We had fun getting all ready with manicures before hand(no pun intended) and a full on beauty shop set up to get ready for our big night. It was a total girls night out!!! Complete with a great dinner at Cheesecake Factory, great company and a great performance.
We waited at the stage door right, for all the cast to leave the theater. The girls had the chance to meet Elphaba above. Bailey gave her a hug as she exited and told her that she was amazing. The gal had tears in her eyes and was very gracious.
Girls Camp 2009

It sure was awesome starting out our summer out with Girls Camp up at Camp Cedar Glen in Julian, California. Our theme this year was "No Guts, No Glory" with a Survivor flavor. We had lots of High Adventure activities, such as High Ropes course, climbing towers, archery and hikes. I was left in for my second year of being in charge of camp....could not have done it with out our YW's Board. I sure am lucky to work with great women and leaders.
It was Bailey's first girls camp, and she was very excited to be up there with me and her sister Brooke. They roomed together in a cabin that was infested with ants by the second day. The ants found their stash of junk food. They were evacuated to the sleep in the camp chapel. What an adventure.
Very relived it was a successful event. We had no complaints from any of the young women. The Camp was a great place to get away and enjoy nature, each other and strengthening our testimonies.
